Lol yeah I'll edit that right away.

Smith also has great series (2014) vs Steyn, Morkel and Philander where he averaged 67.Smith has atg series (17 bgt) vs two atvg spinners he faced(ash and jadeja) but became ashwin`s bunny in 20/21 and 23 bgt
Unfortunately I looked into that. All his runs in high scoring batting draws in that series.Oh you want great series vs great pace: 1960 at home vs Trueman and Statham.
I'm anxious see how he does vs us (the WI) this year assuming Seales, Shamar, Roach and any of Worrican/Motie are available and play. Should he do well, that'll be a nice feather in his cap.As for this thread both sir gary and sachin are retired. We can discuss about them but smith is still playing. We are unsure how he will end up either he is gonna have atg series vs bumrah in 27 or rabada in 26 or will decline bad is unknown. Plz let us keep him out till he retires
So? He still made runs. Aren't you the one always preaching that Smith made runs on roads at home. And fwiw, high scoring or not, he made runs without any helmets vs head hunters and with toothpicks for bats.Unfortunately I looked into that. All his runs in high scoring batting draws in that series.
Yes waiting to see how he does vs your team. Wi have third best attack after aus and saI'm anxious see how he does vs us (the WI) this year assuming Seales, Shamar, Roach and any of Worrican/Motie are available and play. Should he do well, that'll be a nice feather in his cap.
Preaching against that you mean. But sure those runs still count, similar to Gavsaskar vs Quarter in 83.So? He still made runs. Aren't you the one always preaching that Smith made runs on roads at home.

Gavaskar? Huh? Who mentioned Gavaskar?Preaching against that you mean. But sure those runs still count, similar to Gavsaskar vs Quarter in 83.
Umm I wouldn't go that far. We're very good at home but suck away. India has a very good attack still away and are still great at home imo. NZ have a pretty good attack as well, assuming Jamieson overcomes his issues.Yes waiting to see how he does vs your team. Wi have third best attack after aus and sa
they'd probably lose 0-3 or 0-4 without Sobers, both sides had elite batting and only England had elite bowling, by all right it should've been a lopsided english win. Doesn't really matter as Sachin made majority of his runs in losses or draws anyway.Unfortunately I looked into that. All his runs in high scoring batting draws in that series.
I thought the word ATG was used. Other than Truman it’s the definition of solidly above average. Sobers' first series vs Australia in 1956 when he was 18, was vs Lindwall, Miller, Bill Johnston, Benaud and Ian Johnson. He averaged 39 in that series btw, not great, but commendable for a teenager seeing as CW seem to rate teenagers highly that perform well in a test series. Then the series vs England in 57 it was Trueman, Statham, Lock and Laker. Oh you want great series vs great pace: 1960 at home vs Trueman and Statham.
You were the one telling me that was a flat track series Trueman did well in. Anyways Sobers still deserves credit.they'd probably lose 0-3 or 0-4 without Sobers, both sides had elite batting and only England had elite bowling, by all right it should've been a lopsided english win. majority of Windies wickets were flat until a certain Michael Holding came in, tho, it's not like Indian wickets were uber productive to pace either, Viv probably had the hardest home wickets among your modern BAB contenders. You were the one telling me that was a flat track series Trueman did well in. Anyways Sobers still deserves credit.
Sooo you don't think Lindwall was atg?. And more and attack of Lindwall, Miller, Johnston, and Benaud being atg?? Smh...I thought the word ATG was used. Other than Truman it’s the definition of solidly above average
neither Sachin or Smith are averaging more than 35 against that attack btwSooo you don't think Lindwall was atg?. And more and attack of Lindwall, Miller, Johnston, and Benaud being atg?? Smh...
Imo, probably not. Neither are Lara and handful of other atg batsmen.neither Sachin or Smith are averaging more than 35 against that attack btw
Who is whom?Vaughan. Virat. Amla.
