The only reason Bumrah's WPM is 'only 5.5', is that at home in wins, spinners naturally take quite a few wickets well. Bumrah's WPM in away wins rises to 6.33 as well, but his avg remains constant both home and away, depicting his excellence and mastery in all conditions.
Don't really see how Cummins is close to Bumrah as a match winner. Lillee and Bumrah are the ones clearly standing out here.

Cummins performance has dipped significantly after taking the captaincy role.
Bumrah always gets more bowling friendly pitches in Sena than Cummins.
Bumrah has never played in bazball type pitches and Cummins didn't get the opportunity to bowl in the spiciest pitches of sa like bumrah.
Out of form Cummins became the 2nd highest wickets taker in bgt 24 that tells about his quality.

I'd want Smith over Sachin. Sachin went missing in crunch situations a few too many times for my liking. Maybe that's prejudiced by how long he played for and how much we relied on him, but whatever. But Bumrah is too significant an upgrade on Cummins, and that's saying something, so he tilts things in the Indian duo's favor.

Everyone Says Rabada home pitches are the easiest for bowling.
But similarly Bumrah took his 75 percent of wickets in the spiciest pitches of Sena+wi.
Hazlewood, Rabada, Cummins, starc all of his contemporary bowlers has played significant number of matches before 2018 (pace pandemic).
So basically bumrah is playing in the most bowling friendly pitches among the current bowlers .

Sachin would have helped us win the BG trophy earlier this year, so going with that combo.

Heck, even if we had Virat of 2018 we would have won the BG. :(
Even if india played with Dravid+ Sachin+ Laxman , Australia would have still won the series because of scot boland.

In matches they've both played together:
Bumrah: 12 mat 64 wkts @17.13
Cummins: 12 mat 54 wkts @22.12

Bumrah has two flaws for now
1. A poor record against NZ. 9 wickets in 5 Tests
2. Not sure if his body can hold up for a long time

So what you’re saying is Cummins has won almost twice as many matches for Australia. gg

WTF is this?
Seriously you are comparing the greatest fielder with Sachin 🤣 ?
It's like the batting comparison of Hobbs with Kl Rahul .
And Sachin is the 2nd wrost ever captain of test cricket history after rohit sharma.
Get your fact right
He is the greatest Australia captain to tour the Asian subcontinent
And since the start of 2014 , he has taken around 180+ catches in just 178 innings.
Don't ever compare the best ever test fielder with unknown fielder like Sachin.
As a cricketer Smith is the hadlee of cricket and Sachin is the Steyn of cricket.
I'm surprised you rate Hobbs ahead of KL Rahul.
