Well I rate Sanga slightly higher as a bat, so theres that. Curious, where did Sanga usually field after he stopped keeping?

I'm gonna vote on batting, I think Ponting is a slightly better Batsman.

I generally have Ponting as the best of the four between Ponting, Kallis, Dravid and Sangakkara, I know some like to break away Ponting and Kallis from Sangakkara and Dravid but just feels like white supremacy to me, All four are very close and just about any order is valid, I just think I liked watching Ponting the most and he was a little more skilled.

PFK tier take imo.
Again, you're entitled to your opinion.

To be clear, not particularly close for me means I can clearly separate them. Which I can.

alright that's just a horrendous take, Sangakkara was amazing.
There's an old saying, you may not remember what they said, but you always remember how they made you feel. Punter scared me, no other batsman ever has.

I am not particularly great at remembering the dates and specific innings, I do very clearly recall Punter being seen as part of the big three.
At that point he was seen as more consistent than Lara and more destructive than Sachin.
He was at the helm of, and THE man for arguably the strongest line up in modest history.

He was discussed in the best after Bradman conversation, and as much as that's discredited today, that's hindsight and not the feeling in real time. Sangakarra was never seen in that light.

There was a more than good chance that he was going to finish his career with an average around 60, while playing the way he did. Genuinely believed at one point he was going to rated higher than Lara. And while I didn't think he was better, the numbers were there.

I'm gonna vote on batting, I think Ponting is a slightly better Batsman.

I'm never going to me a member of the charter of the white supremacists movement, so can't comment in that.
Punter was a modern day Viv, no the bowling wasn't quite the same, but his dismissal of it surely was. I prefer aggressive batsman who can add impetus to an innings and tern the game in a session as required. He was for me at the time, and now, the best of the fraudulent four.
Kallis was dour, perceived as selfish and existed in his own cocoon at times... He also played on by some distance the toughest home pitches.
Dravid was next, and while he escaped the charges levied against Kallis, he was very similar. While Kallis was called selfish, Dravid was the anchor, or more accurately, the Wall. He was clutch though and I have him right behind Kallis.
Sanga was not only last, but easily so. The numbers are there, the when, where, on what and against who, just isn't, at least not for me.
He was the quietest of the era, and that can't be attributed to playing for SL because Murali was very much in the spot light.

So for me Punter isn't tiers ahead, but he's clearly so.

Sanga and it's not even remotely close. Ponting don't have a secondary skill anywhere close to the quality of Sanga's keeping.
