Burgey is 100% right on Derma Abbott by the way. Quality bowler who would walk into any other international XI. Perennially underrated

Hazelwood, Abbott, Ellis, Green and Zampa looks good. Maybe Meredith for extra pace or a bolter like Lance Morris
Agar and Tanveer Sangha the spin options
He wouldn't make Pakistan's attack.

England's an ageing side. Need to bring through a few younger players. Will be interesting to see which older players are fazed out given most of them still playing at high level. 2024 tournament is in USA and West Indies. Rashid and Ali 34 and 35 years old respectively but no great spin options coming through so likely still important - hope they can last until then.
I think that Rashid is more likely to still be around than Ali in two years time. Maybe Mark Wood will be phased out first as he'll be 34 next time around, which is pushing things a bit for a fast bowler. Malan's already 35, so he may be the first batsman to be replaced. The others all seem to be 31 or 32. I reckon they're safe for a few years, certainly until guys like Salt and Jacks improve and start taking opportunities when they do arise. Stokes might call it a day anyway and completely focus on leading the test side. I know he hasn't done anything to justify it, but I'd still like to see Livingstone batting higher up the order to see if he can make a go of it there.

3 Keepers and 3 spinners as well in that side, lol. We need to stop messing by picking every keeper coz he bats well. A lot of them are only able to bat that way when they are the designated wicketkeepers as well.
next wc is in west indies and 3 spinners there will be fine, probably even needed. Samson and Kishan have also played as normal batsmen before in IPL too and often in the same Indian team as well so that should not be a problem, same for Kishan and Pant... Pant and Samson in Indian team... thinking that they bat well because they also have the extra workload of keeping is silly

Hardik

Chahar
Bishnoi
Bumrah
Umran

Jaiswal is an opener who can sneak an over in if needed like Livingstone. Tilak like Moeen. Bishnoi is our Adil. Bumrah for accuracy, chahar for swing, umran for raw pace. Hardik can chip in depending on conditions in middle overs.

Pant's best work always comes when he takes 15 balls to get set and that cannot be in the powerplay.

Batting down to 8 who can all clear the fence.
