It's a small difference but it becomes relevant when the difference between his home and away averages is literally 25.
I mean its just, if you talk about someone having a disproportionate amount of home games I’d think more like, Ashwin himself.

sure, Ashwin's argument is his home work being next level regardless of pitch difference, Willis's is him being excellent at home and much more of a well rounded all condition bowler. not ridiculous to vote either here.
This.

These people just don't understand that a player plays more than half of his matches at home, So getting rid of home performance is just wrong.
No one is getting rid of anything.

But his home conditions are tailored to the degree of few in history and his away is lacking or sub par for the most part.

Oh God pls stop it with this, he was taking 2 wickets a game. His returns in England are mediocre.
Willis outside ENG and NZ (the only 2 countries he was good)
42 matches 121 wkts (WPM=2.88)
Ashwin outside Asia:
32 matches 118 wkts (WPM=3.69)

Not to mention that Willis in NZ, ENG vs Ashwin in SC is a mismatch in favour of Ashwin
