I support social starting a new thread. It's a significant news event that deserves focussed attention. I reject all the other threads it's being discussed in.
EDIT: Just realised it was a one month ban that's already been served? Maybe not the most earth-shattering thing that's ever happened then. But I still support social starting a new thread. We need more new threads, not less.
