I'm saying that if you want to represent the international sporting team of a certain country - a country that you're basically saying is "yours" according to the popular terminology - then in my book you need to show some form of commitment to that country by having lived there for a good while, if you have the choice over it, instead of spending all your time living in one other country.

If you've been moved around lots between lots of countries because that's the way your parents live, well as I say earlier this thread, maybe some exceptions to normal practice need to be made.
