This series looks set to be very interesting.. India failed to impress during the World Cup, whislt Pakistan have progressed to the Semi finals.. Under the guidance of Kears i think Pakistan have the side that can challenge the Indians who look to be following their RL counterparts in underachieving....

As much as I'd love Pakistan to get up here and shoot the "****y" indians down my head says that the Indians will fire at home. They're a completely diferent outfit on home soil and I think that they will smash Pakistan.

This Series had war written all over it.. India V Pakistan, 2 fierce rivals.. The interest was as much as any other series..
India were Hot favourites for this series, but went out the back door in the World Cup, whilst Pakistan were the surprise packet in the World Cup and now will hope to continue their form in this series...
India won the Toss and elected to bat, but like so many other teams so far struggled to perform, whilst Pakistan annihilated them with the ball.. India could not withstand the pressure of their home crowd and the Pakistani bowlers as they crumbled to be All Out for a humilating 101..
Pakistan had the perfect opportunity to put India out of the game straight away, however despite a fighting 88 from Captain Misbah Ul-Haq and 55 from the big Inzy the Pakistani's also struggled, dismissed for 231..
A 130 run deficeit for India was bad enough but when Phadke fell 2nd ball to Satti, things looked grim... However India were not dead and proceeded to put on a display for their home fans.. A Masterful 159 from Singh and 98 from Dravid led them to an imposing 423, a lead of 293..
Pakistan had let this game slip and the Kumble's put them out of their misery in the 2nd Innings as Pakistan were humbled for a dissapointing 146...

Poor first innings batting from India, but Singh and Dravid put India into a strong position and N Kumble and Tamhane done the rest. Hopefully match two will see a better start...

Poor second dig by Pakistan. Very dissapointing. But then again India were red hot favorites and we showed the, we can compete. Hoping for a better 5 day performance in the 2nd test.

The Test series between India and Pakistan moved to Mumbai with the hosts looking to finish off the series. Paksitan meanwhile were looking to put together a solid performance over the 5 days and put India under pressure...
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat, and were in trouble early with Patrick Kumble removing both openers in a fiery opening spell..
Pakistan recovered through the Ul-Haq's but once again fell away and would have been dissapointed to be dismissed for a moderate 231...
India came out firing and looked like they would run away with the match in the 1st innings as Phadke and Jadhavput on 141 for the opening wicket, but a fightback from the Pakistani bowlers saw the hosts reduced from 1-189 to All out 287 and the game was back on...
56 runs down and pakistan needed a good 2nd Innings to capitalise on the work they had done, but as they were in game 1, Pakistan seemed to be 1 step behind as they again lost early wickets and when the middle order missfired they were found wanting..
Half Centuries from Hameed and Javed helped but they were bowled out for 218 and with India needing 163 to win a miracle was needed...
India again showed why they are regarded as one of the top couple of teams in Tests as they brushed away the deamons of a terrible world cup to finish off Pakistan comfortably..
Pakistan showed they could fight with the Indians, but they are yet to do it over 5 days, and until they do they will struggle to match it with their more powerful rivals...
