Overkill of T20 Franchise Tournaments at the moment

I don't mind them being on at the same time, but players shouldn't be able to switch competitions midway through. The 4 competition winners could then have a play-off.
They should do it anyway. Then if you switched you can’t play in the playoff.

I think you are wrong. It is good they are all on at the same time.
I'd suggest it's irrefutable that it's a good thing. Domestic T20 comps should satisfy their own market predominantly, which means it doesn't matter if they're all on at once. You're an overseas gun for hire? Choose one, even if it isn't your own.

Yep. It also means we can kind of create a 'window' for these B-Leagues instead of constantly having players unavailable to play in all of them across the year.

There is already so less amount of money in Cricket.Even IPL gives a really small amount of money compared to how much it earns. No fault of players if they are trying to make as much money as possible imo.
I do think the major boards can organize a CLT20 type of league with a proper plan.More leagues are good for the growth of the game.

This. Have a better system and a window in place where the league bid for players and maybe a champions league. Sure the IPL will be the strongest but meh

Champions League with the winners of the IPL, Big Bash, SA, NL, Caribbean league, T20Blast, UAE, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka over 2 week would be good as well. I know they tried it before but it could work if their's a better plan for the calendar

We are near(ish) two codes within the sport anyway

They tried a Champions League type format in T20, lasted I think 2 seasons. I personally liked the id, but it didnt catch on and got canned.

I dont like it when the leagues seem to go on forever - IPL, BBL and the England one (cant remember what its called) are prime examples

It's an impossible idea now as some players can represent as many as 6 different franchises.

I had the Bash match on this morning (UK) as I worked from home and hadn't even noticed for 20 mins when Sky had actually switched it to one of the SA20 matches. It all morphs into one...

I've been trying to compare the quality. The SA20 has better foreigners, but some of the domestic players are distinctly average. They are at least playing 2 games a day regularly in a bid to finish it inside 4 weeks. The Bash just lasts way too long.

I suppose local fans will gravitate to their own competition. Means more to them.
People from Cape Town loves it when there team beats a team from JHB or Pretoria
Or vice versa
