Oddly I'm not actually convinced this is that true? Cummins didn't play a home Test until 2017/18 and I think since then muh roads in Australia hasn't been all that accurate. Still plenty of flat decks but I think something that just takes the piss hasn't happened much in the last few summers.
It rewards pretty much every skill and style of seam bowling. There will be some particular skills that are better rewarded elsewhere, but nowhere is so good to the majority of bowlers.
