Old cricket bat

Hi . I've recently got back into the sport with my son. I've dug out my old bat. It's probably about 15 years old and it was stored in my loft. Will it still be use able after an linseed treatment.

Do whatever you want to do to the bat (personal preference). Then bounce a ball on the bat a few times (whilst holding the bat), should be able to tell.
