*Official* Zimbabwe in England (One Off Test)

Imagine if you had a Ben Stokes who could only bowl. He has something no other England bowler has. Can get something out of nothing.

The record of scoring the highest % of inns total (completed inns) was made in the first inns in test history by Charles Bannerman. Most beautiful record in cricket imo. Can Bennett beat Bannerman and the 148 year old record?

The 148 year record still stands tall.
But take a bow Brian Bennett!

Needs to improve in the second innings or else they might move on. Been a nice run out for Bashir this.
Not sure if we will ‘move on’ from him considering he’s very much in the side as backup anyway, but I think it does put the difference between county and Test cricket into perspective when Carse, a player with far less stellar county stats, has made such a blistering start to his Test career on pitches that make today’s look like a typical County Championship green-top!

We’ve got them out for well below the follow-on total, but I don’t know what it says that the pick of the bowlers were Bashir and Stokes who is a bit of a part-timer these days
