At least we'll have a full squad of players to choose from now as presumably Rovman and Romario's visa issues that kept them out of the Netherlands series are sorted.

Given the state of our ODI side I think the best we can hope for is to nab a match and lose 2-1. My side would be:

I know WI's stars are usually off playing some league, but when the hell did Hope play 92 ODIs? Also that average of 51 looks impressive until you realise it's at a strike rate of just 75.

Tbf it has been 80 plus for the last 2 years. When he started it was at 67. He's the least of our problems.

Shai Hope not kicking on in test cricket really made me sad looked so promising in the beginning remember scored a match winning 90 odd on a tough pitch vs Pakistan and followed up with those twin match winning hundreds in England it's even more of a mystery since he did fulfil his potential in odi cricket so can't be just mental block holding him back.

Yeah, it’s quite sad and frustrating to see his test career fading into nothing.

But, he’s made some runs in the Fc competition just prior to the Ireland series, so he might be in consideration for the Bangladesh series…going by current form.
