Round 7 (April 17 – 20):

CCC vs Guyana Harpy Eagles will take place at UWI SPEC in Trinidad.

Jamaica Scorpions vs Trinidad &Tobago Red Force - Sabina Park, Jamaica.

Leeward Islands Hurricanes vs Windward Islands Volcanoes - SVRS, Antigua.

We have won 4 in a row and have the opportunity to top the table if we beat CCC, who have lost all 6 of their matches.

We need 133 more to get to win this game-- and possibly the championship. All 10 wickets in hand.

Rain is fallling tho...

Imlach can bat a bit and must be in with a chance of touring England as back-up keeper option.

Also, as sure as night follows day, Jamaica continue to look as if they don't know one end of the bat from another.

The irony here being that since he came back from Australia, he has not kept wickets.
Thing is Savory has been keeping and scoring runs, Imlach has been batting at 3 as captain and doing his bit too.

Together with young Louis, Wickham and Kevlon amongst others there appears to be some optimism as far as the batting goes.

For sure, the batting this season has been upgraded to an extent…and it’s good to see

Congratulations to you and your team on the win, SillyCowCorner1.

and thanks for keeping us informed and updated on the first class season this year.

:)
At one point in the season, it looked as though we'd not be able to defend out title...but winning 5 on the trot and having Barbados losing to the Academy in combination with Windwards-Leewards draw ensured us topping the table on points.

What a season.

We've clearly dominated the red ball game in the last decade or so...winning the championship 7 out of nine times...the streak was 5 season...then Covid came and prematurely ended the season with Barbados on top. We've come back strongly, winning last year...and now under the captaincy of Kevlon (initially) and Imlach (permanent).

We are a force to be reckoned with in the Caribbean.

Done it with a reboot to the batting lineup as well. Imlach, Kevlon, Savory, Sinclair have taken over from Barnwell, Bramble, Vishaul Singh
