Salman Butt notches up his eleventh FC hundred for hosts Punjab, sharing a stand of 191 with Mohammad Hafeez before the latter was lbw to Sohail Tanvir. Shoaib Akhtar and Yasir Arafat (of the "played for Kent" variety) went wicketless for Federal Areas; Punjab trail by 166.

In Karachi, they're already into the third innings: Sind failed to carry on from yesterday, limping to 149 after Shakeel-ur-Rehman (RHB/RM) of the Frontier Provinces coupled his top score from Sunday with career-best six for 28 (all caught except Naumanullah), and Younus Khan has driven in 13 fours to give NWFP a lead of the round double century at the close of play. No wickets for Sohail, but Anwar Ali, the youth world cup star of two years ago, had Yasir Hameed and Riaz Kail lbw, after taking out Younus Khan in the same fashion on Sunday.

Pretty promising batting lineup for Sindh. Khurram Manzoor, Khalid Latif, Fawad Alam and Sarfraz Ahmed are all future Pakistan players IMO. Anwar Ali and Sohail Khan have heaps of promise with the ball too.

Awesome to see Salman Butt slamming another century. The guy is amazingly talented, I hope he can stand up in international cricket. Want to see him and Nasir Jamshed combine for a big partnership tomorrow.

Great to see Butt, Jamshed and Khurram manzoor getting good runs the only sad part was to see Kaneria picking up a 5-er.

Was watching the highlights, holy ****!!! Anwar Ali inswingers's are massive all he needs is a ball that can hold its line with the angle and we could have something special on our hands.

Sind chase 309 to win by five wickets. Fair effort, even with NWFP bowling attack being somewhat weak. Afridi nearly batted properly, too. (29 off 37 in a stand of 62 for the fifth)

Mo Yo acting like a super star is disgusting he has played only one game in this tourney and from what I have heard he is not suffering from injuries or anyting.

Massive win for Sind (Karachi) means they take the title. Afridi took out the top, and after resistance from Ammar Mahmood & Misbah-ul-Haq Punjab crumbled for 202 to lose by an innings.

Lots of youth in the squad though! Abdul Ameer (16!), Khurram Manzoor (21), Khalid Latif (22), Fawad Alam (22), Sarfraz Ahmed (20, made a nice 82* before Afridi declared on him), Anwar Ali (20), even Sohail Khan isn't more than 24.

Wonder how soon Sarfraz will replace Kamran (and how soon he will be discarded again)
