Well it is our biggest Test win ever and we were pulling our punches with a NZ A attack and a declaration only 3 down and not that many overs at the crease.

Zimbabwean cricket is ****ed.

Anyway, very disappointing for Zimbabwe. Obviously wanted NZ to win, but I do like to see the less favoured teams play well. Really not much to cheer for if you’re a Zimbabwe fan. Particularly disappointed in Bennett as he’s going to be critical to their future success you have to think.

Zim probably have accelerated the need for a 2 tier system in test cricket , think it would do them a world of good to play regular Test cricket but against lower ranked teams

Too easy, it was a good stats boosting test series for our players but not good for Zimbabwe getting thrashed that badly, they have a lot of work to do.

Do you think ICC used Zimbabwe to push the narrative of the 2 tier system ? I mean they played a dozen tests out of nowhere for the first time in decades , even a team like England who didn't want anything to do with Zim suddenly invited them for a tour ..

Nah a whole bunch of teams have given enough evidence of why a two tier system is needed, don't think ICC would go through all that trouble

Zimbabwe already were playing against lower ranked teams, they lost twice to Ireland (home and away) and lost their series against Afghanistan, as well of course as their drawn series against Bangladesh. You feel as though more Tests against that sort of opposition (and the Windies and Pakistan) would be what they need rather than getting battered by England, South Africa and New Zealand

Is there really no more test cricket until October? I’m starting to feel a nasty comedown from the India England series. A Pakistan WI Jamodi going on doesn’t help things.

Pitiful performance by the Zim batsman, a top 5 that should have got some runs, the Kiwi attack apart from Henry where debutants, Curran should not have been dropped, is Ballance eligible again ? , he has a good 3 years left in him if available, Ngarava and Evans need to get themselves fit. a better wicket keeper than Tsiga required too, more fist class games needed too for all the top players, including A games and overseas touring teams.
