Waqar was devastating but did a lot of poor team bashing when he was in that hot run of form. Has some level of longevity too so he’s slightly ahead for now, but Bumrah should overtake him

Imran and Wasim will be tougher, he’d have to play 70-80 tests to stand a chance and take wickets at a similar clip.

If Bumrah is better than Akram, he is the Greatest Bowler in last 108 years.

Akram is a bit overrated. Very skillful but McGrath, Steyn, Marshall, Hadlee, Ambrose all better than him. Akram also has a 25+ away average.

His mastery of varied skills often make people overrate him.

5 right now is Kapil but Shami should get there if he can get 300 @ 26ish.

Bumrah probably won't get to Wasim Akram's level either ever. Still a good bowler though. But once again highlights that very very strong era that Lara player in...the 1990s/early-mid 2000s....such a strong era of world cricket.

Imagine Lara playing currently/past decade....

lol that was one of the worst bowling periods of all time. Lara would probably average less currently/past decade as the pitches have turned increasingly bowler friendly and every team has a decent attack
