Handy and much needed lead by Ireland since they have to bat last on this pitch. Match definitely not over though. Expecting a strong comeback from Afghanistan in the second innings.

A fun test match this. A three-match series would be wonderful
Not a chance with how much it costs to put on a test. The associations can't afford it.(wonderful it would be though)

ICC and big 3 need to sort it out to keep test cricket being played in the other nations.

They showed the "crowd" and there was no crowd. Just a handful of spectators watching the match on the ground. A 3 match series with no spectators doesn't look good.

One of the big 3 has to conduct a test tri-series with Ireland/Afghanistan and one other nation like NZ, WI, SL, BD or SA. No need of a final. Team with maximum wins gets the trophy or the trophy is shared if teams finish on equal wins.

In this scenario, people might come to ground to watch the neutral match too anticipating on how it might affect the standings of their own team.

The first real cricket I can remember vividly was a Tri-Series with the WI/NZ in 2004. Would be a good idea, doubt it will happen though.

The cricket so far has been quite good and captivating. It is unfortunate that it is not being watched or followed by many due to the teams being low key. Nice aggressive test match bowling by both Adair and Mccarthy.

Craig Young breaks this stubborn 6th wicket partnership. Afghanistan effectively 65/6 now.
