Dhoni has a far better death overs strike rate than jadeja in the past 2 years despite coming in later and facing less balls before hitting. The issue isn't where Dhoni is batting, it's the fact that A) in the past 2 games rachin has regressed and gaikwad had been a massive negative in the powerplay, and noene outside of dubey has done much to make up for the poor starts.

Ehh, I think it was a good innings given the context of how RCB batted. It's not like the KKR knock where green and maxwell scored faster than him in the middle and he got stuck for a few overs with rawat. I just don't like how he played a few balls when he got close to the milestone, felt like he was playing more safely until he got it.
Yeah, I think their issue is definitely their bowling. Even now Topley and Siraj with the new ball with Dayal bowling first change is decent enough with the fast bowling. But they should have got a spinner there instead of Joseph or Tom Curran or whoever. They should make a play for Washy next season and see if there is a good wrist spinner available. Maybe Zampa. That would be ideal with the options they currently have.
