literally every member of this England batting lineup has outscored Kohli, Iyer and Vihari for this match now.

BazBall is unbeatable.

Thakur had been a non-presence as well. Should have picked Ashwin instead.

Basically India cannot afford too many overs without Bumrah and Shami at one end. No one else looks likely to take a wicket.

i feel Dravid is too much of 'let the boys learn' rather than 'tell the boys what to do every moment' kind of coach. Great for the U19s and youngsters but no so much when we need to win a big Test...

also tbf we don't know if Shami was feeling sore and asked to be taken off.

Bumrah needs to bowl himself now. Break this partnership ASAP.

Cricketer Of The Year
If cummins where here he would have hit 50 runs from the broad over and taken 12-fer, ending the game in 2 days.

The thing I never really considered about playing in this fashion is that it takes the new ball out of the equation. Obviously it’s a big ‘if’, but if we make it to the new ball with the batsmen still in, the game is as good as done. Puts pressure on the bowling side because they just can’t afford to sit back and wait.
