HOOKED he was always in the ODIs playing his favorite HOOK.....a happy hooker as some commentator said in the World Cup about Habibul Bashar I think :laugh: ......lolz :p!!!!!
Quite often in test and even first class cricket in Bangladesh as well. If he just put that shot away, I reckon he'd average 40+ in test cricket.

Bangladesh look like they're playing exactly how they want to, another upset is seeming possible. :ph34r:

Sam is fuming: "Munaf bowling at a pace of 126.1 kmph ? Is it a joke ? Not long ago he had castled visiting England with a 9-wicket haul in a match in the tour game that propelled his entry to the team and at the time, he was termed as fastest bowler in the country. Since then his pace has ridiculously dropped. Why does it happen that every one who plays for India gets his pace dropped ? Pathan, Patel, Zaheer. And the ones who have pace -- RP, Sree are erractic and inconsistent"
His second comment answers his first, really. Munaf has dropped his pace due to his first change role of bowling accurately, keeping the runs down and getting a bit of movement. If not, he'd be erractic and inconsistent like RP and Sree.

Considering how there is no Mortaza to shoot the 4s and 6s later on and the game being only 47 overs, Bangladesh NEED to score runs more QUICKLY, and score then NOW :@!!!!!

126 though? Not exactly any kind of pace there.

It was one ball - quite likely to be especially picked out by cricinfo commentators to cause a response. I've seen Munaf bowl slightly slower balls like that before whilst bowling in the 130-135 range just as variation.

Ah my mistake. He seems to be by far the most effective bowler so far,

10 overs to go, have to be thinking of going at least a run a ball from here.

If another wicket falls, Bangladesh would SURELY miss Mashrafe.....Mushfique CAN hit it good and clean, but takes a little time, Rafique CAN slog BIG, but has aged.....Mashrafe on the other hand plays somewhat sensibly as a batsmen and can slog it so so so so so good for Bangladesh.....*sigh*.....he is truly missed :(!!!!!

Add: Aftab is a tiger as is Ashraful :D.....4 to get off the mark :thumbup:!!!!!~~~~~

Mongia gets Ashraful on his last ball.

Sehwag gets Aftab Ahmed with his last ball.

Powar gets Rafique with his last ball.

Wild o.O;

A very good score from Bangladesh, 250/7 in 47 overs.

Looks to be a very interesting match.

Ahhhh.....Bashar said he was looking forward to a score of about 230-240, which he thought was challenging. And the team got him 250 :)!!!!!
