Dravid gets hit on the helmet...great! Exactly what india needs at the moment!
Good to hear about an Indian pace bowler actually inflicting a bit of damage to a batsman, just a pity that Dravid was the one in the firing line.

Indian batsmen are getting knocked over by their own bowlers!

Thats certainly isn't a good sign for the Indian batting line-up.

true....but it looks like u dont have to be too pacy to actually knock over indian batsmen. Tendulkar als injured himself slightly with a bouncer by Sreesanth!

Sreesanth has some decent pace.

But RP.Singh certainly isn't quick enough to hit any batsmen, he is in general around 135 kmph mark.

Sachin and Dravid struggling to cope with Sreesanth and RP.Singh's bowling in nets also shows that Tendulkar and Dravid aren't getting any younger with time.

 Good one, of course they aren't getting younger. To expect them to stay at the same age and ability for a long amount of time is ridiculous, all batsman have to age sooner or later. These two wouldn't be the first batsman who have been injured by their own team mates in a net session, I mean Lou Vincent's world cup campaign finished early because he got hit by Shane Bond.

People do get hit and it is not necessarily because the ball was super fast or the batsman has slowed down

Yes, if a batsman gets hit repeatedly by short pitched deliveries, he has a problem but a hit once in a while will get the best players of short pitched bowling even at their prime.

This doesnt, necessarily, mean anything.

Definately, that was the point I was trying to make. Bowlers do bowl good balls that get some of the best batsman hopping around in the crease, it doesn't necessarily mean that Dravid or Tendulkar are past it though.

Should be intersteing series from point o view of seeing if Bangladesh can really push on from a wonderful world cup campaigne. There will be bit more pressure on them as well as their home crowd would have more expectation of them and same goes for india, they'll be looking to put the world cup dissappointment behind them. If Bangladesh can finally play consistent cricket it'll be an interiging battle. Don't think there's ever been a much anticipated series as this one for Bangladesh.
Lets see how some of the indian young guns play against the Bangldeshi young guns. Hoping Uthappa, Gambhir and Tiwari perform well to finally see the back of Sehwag for now. He needs to go play domestic and sort out his game, Int cricket is not the place to do it.

I agree that it would be wonderful to see the youngsters do well...but it would be also good if sehwag can, in fact sort out his game in international crciket. If he performs well throughout the series, i see no reason for why he should be excluded. I know sehwag is inconsistent...but if he can show that consistency, it would be great. Otherwise, like u say, tell him to go away and sort it out in domestic cricket!

Tiwary Ruled Out

Damn, this is so disappointing. Possible Replacements? Kaif, Badrinath, Raina or Sharma?

.....

Add to that injury list Mashrafe Bin Mortaza!

His back problem has returned! Not sur eif he would be playing hte first game. If the pain still remains, he just MIGHT be ruled out of the whole series considering how he has difficulty walking atm!

Shahadat Hossain would be his replacement if he can't play!

Positive: Shahadat averages 139-140 kph :)!
Negetive: Not a genuine wicket taker :(!
