Ah well, it was fun whilst it lasted, just bat normally now for a couple of sessions and get well and truly out of sight.

Boo on Mark Nicholas for trying to pronounce Labuschagne properly
I would like to think Labuschagne is a French name. Why not simply pronounce it the French way? Just like the French say champagne.

As with many francophone surnames in either Holland or SA (most coming form the same influx of huegenots), they seem to be randomly pronounced either French or Dutch/Afrikaans. Labuschagne, in Holland, is pronounced the French way (like yay). Just like Du Chatenier (fairly common name here). However, the also fairy common surname Parmetier is pronounced the Dutch way (like deer).

Next topic: Nortje. From French Nortier? Or what?

Cricketer Of The Year
Doesn't have a bad t20 record at all. Clearly has shots in his locker, just knows when to choose them.

No need to do that kind of shot really runs coming easily just playing normal stuff but it’s one of his shots so makes sense. Would have liked to see him get a few more though.
