Namibia out in front and have beaten Uganda comfortably. Pity about the first round of matches being washed out.

Even a touch below strength, Namibia still looked clearly the best team. Christi Viljoen was almost unplayable, wonder if he'll give up on trying to hack in in NZ and focus on his home country. Beast at assosciate level yet his time at Otago hasn't been entirely convincing

He was actually really disappointing when he played the other Division 2 teams in the 50 over stuff a couple of months ago. This is a massive return to form but he was probably only barely keeping his place in the side before this.

Actually you are dead right, didn't realise how little impact he had there. Namibian seam bowling stocks look pretty thin though, Jan Frylinck seems handy but apart from that there isn't much to write home about

so japan are into the 2020 U19 CWC because PNG forfeited as they suspended 11 of their 14 players for disciplinary issues. wonder what happened there?

Yea there are a lot of people asking on the PNG FB page - management has said they'll reveal more when they're back at Port Moresby on the 11th.

my guess is some of them enjoyed the Japanese nightlife a bit too much

saw one of the players' mothers commenting on one of cricket PNG's facebook posts saying she doesn't even know what's happening. crazy

For those curious - 10 of the PNG U19 lads were arrested for shop lifting, and almost weren't allowed to even leave Japan to begin with.

Germany looking dominant against Norway. Good to see Meschede doing well for them.

Germany managed to recruit 4 county cricketers apparently. And meanwhile, Rusty Theron has been trying out for USA

Associates raising their talent acquisition game

Ooh, Guernsey-Denmark is getting interesting. Denmark flew to 52-2 chasing 119, but now they're 74-5.

Guernsey fight back and take the win! Denmark finish on 112-9. Would have rather watched that on TV than the Australia-Bangladesh game, tbh.

That's excellent, thanks.

It's a shame only one team from this group progressed. Would have liked to see more of Germany.
