Good question...

Sounds interesting, if somewhat familiarMister Wright said:Cricketweb Survivor will involve two tribes fighting it out for Ashes supremacy. The two
tribes will be located on Ashes Island and will face numerous physical and mental challenges in order for one ultimate winner to battle through the competition victorious with two million dollars. The names of the tribes will represent two Ashes greats, one from England, one from Australia. In honour of England great David Gower the first tribe will be known as 'Gower Tribe' and the tribe will represent his finece and ellegance, however will also contain his desire to win underneath the casual effortness of his play. In honour of
Australian great Alan Border the second tribe will be known as 'Border Tribe' and will
represent his grittiness and toughness, and his ability to battle through any situation.
The unltimate survivor will be one who plays the game with skill, mental toughness and
charisma. While they will have to be knowledgeable in the nuances of cricket and have a lot of luck, they will also have to be able to manipulate people to their advantage. The
ultimate winner will possess the ability to form alliances and know the right time to
strike.
The first stage of Cricketweb Survivor will be the allocation of the tribes. This will be
open until Sunday, July 17. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Following
this process will be the second stage which will involve the nomination of a tribe leader,
the tribe leader will be voted by members of the tribe, tribe members cannot vote for
themselves, this will be open for a 24 hour period. The third process will involve first challenge which will be for the first innings of the first test. An innings is the duration of both teams' first batting innings. The team who wins the challenge will be free from immunity and the next challenge will open. While the next challenge is open the losing team will nominate they player they want to vote off Ashes Island. This will continue throughout the series as the matches continue.
Tribe Leaders
Tribe leaders will be voted by members of the tribe. Members cannot vote for themselves. Tribe leaders are not exempt from being voted off the island, but will decide who is voted off the island if there is a deadlock, if the tribal leader is part of the deadlock, the decision will be left to the toss of a coin. If the tribal leader is then banished from the Island the next tribal leader will be the leader who finished with the 2nd most votes in the original vote and must still be left on the Island.
Challenges
Due to there being more people interested than I originally thought, any tribal member who does not cast a vote in the alloted time will be automatically banished off the Island. Due to there only being a maximum of 10 possible challenges, this is the only fair way to do it with so many people.
Wash out or no batting innings
The Gower tribe will be allocated the England batting innings and the Border tribe the Australian batting innings in the event of a wash out preventing that side from batting, or a team not making the other bat due to the follow on, or early victory. This means if England do not bat in a particular innings, the challenge is forfeited and the Border tribe will have immunity, vice versa if the Australian team do not bat.
If there is no winner found at the end of the series
If there is no winner found by the end of the series, VC4 will be used to find the ultimate survivor, using current players only. However, I find this unlikely, as we will probably adopt a double banishing or as many as we need. VC4 will only be used in an extreme circumstance.
I hope this clears everything up for everyone, I hope interest remains throughout the series, and I hope Cricketweb Survivor can continue on to include other test match series'. Do keep in mind this is the inagural Cricketweb Survivor and I am still working things out, so please be patient and mindful.
I will not be involved as a tribe member, but will be the official broadcast presenter.
All the best to everyone and good luck.
More information to follow.
