Cmon, it’s Rohit. Also has a very very impressive WC record. Rohit is probably in the top 6/7 ODI bats. Was exceptional even in India’s last horror tour of SL

Tough one. I vote for Dean Jones because I don't want the early pioneers of limited overs batting to be forgotten because of the gigantic numbers that present day batters put up.

Yeah brother, Rohit Sharma has the same number of WC hundreds that Dean Jones has in his entire career.
Can't compare eras like that. It was much harder to score 100s back then especially as 220-230 was a good score. It is much easier now.

Rachin Ravindra got 3 WC 100s last year, while Martin Crowe only scored 4 in his entire career. Daryl Mitchell scored 5 in 2023 alone.

Jones was a great runner between wickets and the best ODI bat between Viv and Bevan/Tendulkar. He was also more secure against the moving white ball (not so good against the red), so probably wouldn't have been dominated by the likes of Boult and Henry.

Jones imo.
