NRL v.s Super League

TBH guys I think we are a much better side than the super league boys from England. Lets face it, we all know we will be playing in a much superior competition skill wise. I feel sorry for those guys.

Nothing wrong with a little belief. We have to be confident.
But respectful ... I am confident of winning but we can't go out there thinking it's a walkover

Seems to me like it's not so much arrogance as it is ignorance. Don't get too ****y guys :p

I hate Aussies saying that. The huge gap between the NRL and the Superleague is not in skill, but in depth. I have no qualms about saying any of St Helens, Leeds, Bradford and Hull (maybe Warrington and Wigan too, but they're doubtful) would comfortably hold their own in the NRL and, given a few seasons to adapt, could challenge for the premiership. The difference between the NRL and the Superleague is that, whilst the NRL is competetive all the way down, the Superleague holds pretty much nothing outside of that top 4/5 apart from the odd poor team held up by a good-usually from overseas-player (Huddersfield with Thorman and De Vere, London with Bradley-Qalilawa, Wakefield and Solomona)

the difference is right there, players like Thorman and Solomona were reserve graders here and have no worries about making first grade there...
Even a guy like michael Withers who i saw a month or so a go has a great record in england did nothing at all here...

To be fair, everyone (apart from bradford fans) sees Withers as crap up here.
Thorman had done nothing at all (apart from one Lancs vs. Yorkshire game when he destroyed us :( ) to deserve to even be a reserve grader over there, but seeing how he's grown and progressed this season, I'd think he was an underacheiver at London and Parramatta and atm I'd have him as GB's first choice half back.

Thorman didn't go to bad the times he played in first grade for us, it would have been interesting to see him team up with Timmy Smith rather then **** Witt.

Can he tackle yet?
Never seen him tackle.

...Then again, most teams tear London up through the middle and don't bother with his wing.
