The gap between Philander and Ashwin is definitely bigger than the gap between Kohli and De Villiers, and Ashwin can bowl a lot of over with a higher WPM for my average team.

And feel like Botham is clearly better on paper, but feel like he wasn't great for a considerable amount in his career, which may hurt my average team.

Interesting, you are the only one who went for Kallis Pollock.

I think I am the only one going for Lloyd and Holding, I just rate having a matchwinner pacer higher than the batting advantages.

I considered both more than others. Think as an overall cricketer, the gap between Holding and Kapil isn't really big. Though yeah, an ATG pacer does have more benefits, not sure enough to cover the Lloyd/Gavaskar gap though.

Kallis and Pollock are in similar vein, though McGrath is much further ahead of Pollock. But so is Kallis of Ponting, and then he can bowl. Can go either way honestly.

I was thinking of the same thing. In an average team, ATG opener and a great all rounder titled my opinion to Sunny/Kapil.
