That's a piss poor take, as worse as Hobbs being pre modern imo. This forum needed Narayana.....Willis. Shami gets a boost due to poor modern techniques.
mate have you seen Zak Crawley BAT!?That's a piss poor take, as worse as Hobbs being pre modern imo. This forum needed Narayana.....
I have but comeon now!!! This "sports went backwards" is some filthy garbagemate have you seen Zak Crawley BAT!?
Imo that's not what subs meant, as the world didn't have any great bowler bar Steyn from 2008 to 2014, the world doesn't have many great batters now.I have but comeon now!!! This "sports went backwards" is some filthy garbage
Willis. Shami gets a boost due to poor modern techniques.
It kinda has, especially batting.I have but comeon now!!! This "sports went backwards" is some filthy garbage
Pretty evident to see quite frankly.Imo that's not what subs meant, as the world didn't have any great bowler bar Steyn from 2008 to 2014, the world doesn't have many great batters now.
don't think the focus shifted to shorter formats, tests ate ODI recently.Pretty evident to see quite frankly.
But with the shift in focus to the shorter formats, how many better ones are we going to get?
Yup and I would say even in the 90s bats knew how to weather tougher spells much moreso than today.Imo that's not what subs meant, as the world didn't have any great bowler bar Steyn from 2008 to 2014, the world doesn't have many great batters now.
T20.don't think the focus shifted to shorter formats, tests ate ODI recently.
that's mostly treated as a blank checkT20.
I think Zaheer would have Shami figures if he were bowling today. Not to slam Shami though who is a fine bowler.I don't disagree with poor modern batting techniques, but equally Shamis bowling technique is a thing of beauty and would trouble the best
I can't take such opinions seriously, sorryIt kinda has, especially batting.
The world might just come to an end.Imo that's not what subs meant, as the world didn't have any great bowler bar Steyn from 2008 to 2014, the world doesn't have many great batters now.
Historically, yes, the most friendly era since the 50’s has been the past 5 years. These are probably the easiest times to get test wickets in my time watching cricket with the new cricket ball, T20 techniques and more sporting wickets.
Steve Smith and co, and Pre Covid most teams had much stronger batting units. It's like saying bowlers had poor technique in the 2000sImo that's not what subs meant, as the world didn't have any great bowler bar Steyn from 2008 to 2014, the world doesn't have many great batters now.
