Not Terrible
Kind of a tricky comparison here cos Wagner is more consistent but both Starc and Johnson have FAR higher peaks than he ever did.

International Regular
I don't actually know which one I rate highest overall (though Johnson is my favourite of the three for pure entertainment). Starc and Wagner are both easier to fit into a team than Johnson, though - as insane as his best could be, his off-days were frequent and bad enough to legitimately see as a risk not worth taking if existing team balance wouldn't be particularly conducive to covering for a bad performance.

This is why i like Wagner particularly. He's a specialist old ball quick which means he's not in competition with most other quicks for a new ball spot.

Think it'd depend on the circumstances.

I'd take Johnson if I had an ATG attack around him which would cover for his off-days and would just allow him to go full throttle on the opposition. If I had a gun new ball pairing but lacked a good spinner (or old ball bowler) then I'd pick Wagner due to his ability to bowl long, hostile spells that can give a point of difference. Starc might be the best option if I had to pick an attack from scratch but his meh record against the best concerns me.
