I was just looking up their World Cup records. Hussey averaged 19.5 in the World Cup, and to be honest I was rather astonished at that with one solitary 50 (PLF!) to note. Buttler averages a rather disappointing 29 although this of course takes this current blowout very much into account. He still has an S/R of 120 though. Does the world cup impact mean a re-calibration for any of you? It is fair enough to say that a career record of 48 for Hussey at 87 S/R is rather fantastic and compares rather well with the less expansive members of the current Aussie team given that he was around Punter, Hayden and Gilchrist, to name but 3 for much of his earlier career.

Buttler still averages 40 with an s/r of 117. Depends how you guys want to evaluate the bilateral series contributions, given that they seem to be weighted not very highly on here!
