Leggie who spins it the most in the world right now and has 24 wickets @ 19.75 in this year's county championship. Get hyped.

HIs lack of pace makes me sceptical of whether he'd succeed in internationals, it's been a long time since a high 70s km/h type bowler was successful in tests. I do like his bowling a lot though, except that he doesn't seem to bowl a googly, which seems to be pretty unusual amongst specialist leg spinners (though Yasir only bowls one very rarely and it's not wicket taking ball for him).

The calls for him to be picked against India (what about Leach FFS?) are misguided, and I'm sure there will be inevitable dragging him to Australia too. They should be looking at not this Ashes, but the next in Australia. England's wrecked too many potential spin talents recently by picking them quite long and dropping them like a hot potato after failure. Let him mature as a bowler.

I suspect England see him as the heir apparent to Adil Rashid and may be more inclined to pick him in short-form cricket. Agree that he's probably a bit too slow for Test matches but he does rip it and has decent control.
