Gavaskar is a bigger bowling outlier than Bradman is a batting outlier, he averages 206.0, Lindwall's batting cannot compete.

This is where the stats nerds of this forum depart from cricketing reality

not a single person who followed Indian cricket during that time would consider Gavaskar more valuable. Kapil was and still may be the most imoortant player ever in Indian cricket. Gavaskar - who actually remembers the loser other than his stats
