Two players with excellent longevity
ah ****This has been done four times previously and Walsh won comfortably every time.
I’m wondering if flip flopper @Prince EWS has changed his mind againThis has been done four times previously and Walsh won comfortably every time.
But he won't in this one! This has been done four times previously and Walsh won comfortably every time.
Think he was one of the last test pacers who also played a lot of FC.Walsh taking 1807 first class wickets is pretty crazy
“Throwaway pacer” is pretty disrespectful imo. It's kinda sad that one of throwaway pacers of the 80s/90s comfortably beats the best pacer of the 2010s.
(yes I know Steyn might qualify but you know what I mean and no I love Walsh)
Lol Walsh to me kind of seemed in the early 90s that way until he became consistently worldclass towards the end. Like I didn't understand why he was being paired together with Ambrose, Wasim and Waqar as he didn't seem as threatening.“Throwaway pacer” is pretty disrespectful imo.
No he isn’t.Later Anderson better than Walsh but overall Walsh is better
The Awkward Bowling Length of Walsh was uncomfortable for Batsmen. He was like Wine becoming better with Age.Lol Walsh to me kind of seemed in the early 90s that way until he became consistently worldclass towards the end. Like I didn't understand why he was being paired together with Ambrose, Wasim and Waqar as he didn't seem as threatening.
But to any offended, I apologize.

Holding?????? Hell nah.Of the retired quicks that a significant proportion of CWers rank as ATGs, I reckon Walsh beats Anderson, Pollock and Holding.
Ya, that's not gonna be a popular opinion. I gotta respect double the numbers of wickets at similar stats unless they come with meaningful caveats though. And I don't see any caveats to attatch that are that meaningful.Holding?????? Hell nah.
