Okay, better bowler is a tough one. I think both are at same level. Jadeja obviously an all rounder while Philander is a bowler who could bat a bit.

While comparing spin vs pace, remember pace is harder job than spin in terms of fitness and having a full fledged successful career.

Objectively speaking, they are interesting cricketers to use in comparisons given they are topical, their heavy away/home split, overall good figures and cut to the heart of debates over how we evaluate greatness. But I post plenty about others too.
