Kallis is such a complete cricketer.

Though they are almost the bizaro version of each other.

Kallis the better bat and slip, 2/3, takes it.

All-rounders who have appeared in the Top 10 ICC Test Rankings for both batting and bowing since 1950. Highest batting ranking shown first.

Miller 10th & 1st
Sobers 1st & 5th
Botham 3rd & 1st
Kallis 1st & 6th
I mean we all talk about his peak and ICCrankings are far from perfect but 3rd and 1st is insane.

Botham's first bowling and third batting ranking did not occur at the same time. He was top of the bowling for 845 days, including two whole years continuously. Absence of Packer players was a factor. During this time his highest batting ranking was 7th after the Jubilee Test in India.

Miller was top bowler for 35 days, during which his batting ranking was 13th.

Sobers was first and fifth at the same time in 1963. When Kallis was number one batsman, his highest bowling ranking was 16th.
