Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Dravid, Sanga, Miandad, Khan, Kohli, Inzamam, Merchant, Sehwag for me....Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Dravid, Sanga, Miandad, Khan, Kohli, VVS, Inzamam, Aravinda
top 10 Asian bats
Neither he nor Sanga are better than Dravid.Definitely. Asia's 4th best bat behind Gavaskar, Tendulkar, and Sanga.
Sangakkara has a strong argument.Neither he nor Sanga are better than Dravid.
We can agree to disagree.Sangakkara has a strong argument.
I am not sure how seriously anyone should take home numbers for Javed. He had great numbers at home, but then the same batsman when playing away in Asia,Fair enough for hating him, for his post career.
Problem is, he just performed too good during his career to keep him out of ATG ranks, and his Home/Away disparity isn't the biggest around to just discredit that performance in one stroke like that.
Some would say the same about Chanders, he's still by no means an ATG.Javed was a ****ing nightmare to remove from the crease.
When I was a young kid he gave me headaches and literally helped in trying to ruin my childhood so definitely ATG imo
Chanders never made me cry thoughSome would say the same about Chanders, he's still by no means an ATG.
He made though…in that game where he had to get 10 off 2 balls to win the game at the Queens Park Oval.Chanders never made me cry though
you watched Miandad bat live?Chanders never made me cry though
Yes unfortunately for hours and hours and hours on end.you watched Miandad bat live?
I ran the number on this,Some would say the same about Chanders, he's still by no means an ATG.
Plus Chanders could score a 60 ball ton against AustraliaI ran the number on this,
Shiv faced 118 balls before getting dismissed on average.
Javed faced 90 balls before getting dismissed on average.
Shiv was far more difficult to dismiss and he did not even have umpires supporting him at home by not giving LBW for a very long time.
