I think Inzamam is the quintessential 2000s FTB and would average less than Gordon in the 70s/80s despite the opener/MO difference.
Don't think I agree with. His Era was tough mostly for a single team and he never played them, and his record to strong Australia and Pakistan is mid asf. Good record to England and NZ though.

Gordon had his issues in Australia and Pakistan but as I've covered before, the Pakistani wickets were extremely difficult and I don't see Inzamam performing on those either against Imran, and we all know how Inzamam performed against the two strong sides of his time as well.

Yeah, I was just saying given his Aussie and Pakistan record and never playing WI, I won't give Gordon that many Era points.

well I would, considering his home wickets also were way tougher to bat in than Inzamam's, and unlike Inzi he atleast did score against everyone on his home wickets.

Do you realize Inzamam debuted in 1992. He avetages 43.2 in the 90s, which was even tougher than 80s to bat.
