After Gavaskar, Merchant and Sehwag, who is India's 4th best opener of all time (exclude Yashasvi Jaiswal for now)?
As openers:
Sidhu - 69 inns 2911 runs @42.80, 8 100s & 15 50s
Gambhir - 101 inns 4119 runs @42.90, 9 100s & 21 50s
Vijay - 100 inns 3880 runs @39.19, 12 100s & 15 50s
Rohit - 66 inns 2697 runs @42.80, 9 100s & 8 50s

Match factors:
Rohit - 1.44
Sidhu - 1.26
Vijay - 1.22
Gambhir - 1.20

Rohit is the outlier but the others weren't playing with Bumrah, and then Ash-Jaddu at home.
Gambhir gets hard done by the most as he played majorly in good batting and weak bowling sides.
Vijay and Sidhu played with poor bowling sides as well, although their batting lineups weren't as strong as with Gambhir.

Among the current era batsman
Technique wise Kl Rahul is the best indian batsman (better than Virat Kohli, rohit sharma )
No real weakness.
Yeah but he doesn't have the consistent output for him to go above the above mentioned guys. His best knocks are better than them, but not nearly the same consistent output. Technique is no good if you can't make runs using that.
