A strong Lions team, but India still going well with the bat, a road, or just a poor performance from everyone not named Christopher Roger Woakes?

Khaleel Ahmed on fire this morning and turned the innings on it's head with 4/25 from a 6 over spell.

So..... As it stands Jurel scored a 90 and 50, Easwaran a 68 and 80 and Rahul a Century and 50 in the same game. And ofcourse, Nair scored a 200 and a 40. I still think Jaiswal, Rahul, Sudarshan, Gill, Nair and Pant is the way to go, but Jurel and Easwaran does present their cases now.

India A just using it as batting practice.

Not sure how facing two opening batsman bowling is even good practice.

Ben McKinney has never even bowled in 1st team cricket before today

What have conditions been like for these games? Impressive that so many new faces have made runs this early in the English summer.
Flatter wickets, but not roads per se. Bowlers on both sides like Woakes, Kamboj, Khaleel etc have looked good in certain spells but below par bowling really tbh. Also some very good batting where the Haines, Nair and Rahul tons were most impressive imo

'that he would be joining up with Ben Stokes's team ahead of the first of five Tests against India'.

A net bowler for now things can change - only two f/c games
