Been a lot of pitches like that in County Cricket in recent seasons mind.

So unless he played the entire season not sure it would make too much difference, you've also got the IPL shaped issue for any Indian players to get much time in the CC.

But down to the pitch hard to look at that game as a real indicator of anyone's bowling ability.

A veteran coming back to fitness, our occasional backup wicketkeeper, a bowler on the fringes of the team who played against Zimbabwe, and the current highest wicket taker in the CC, feels much more like a conventional England Lions team

I like how Crapinfo still have Hill listed as a batting all rounder, I think that ship may have sailed.

Both looked out to me, the first even more so unless he hit it. Admittedly, Jaiswal didn't seem happy about it.

Nah, it pitches in line with middle, no way it's missing. I've been pausing it and think it gets exaggerated by Jaiswal's immediate leg movement. It's certainly no shocker anyway.

Anyway, another for Woakes and to be honest, this one may have been heading down. But no doubt he's causing the batsmen a lot of issues.
