U19 Debutant
Two lineups from the 90s to mid 2000s who all went to become national greats. The following players were the most featured batsmen in their national ODI side during that time
  • Anwar - Afridi - Younis - Yousuf - Inzamam
  • Sehwag - Sachin - Ganguly - Dravid- Yuvraj

Younis and Afridi are weak links compared to their respective numbers in India lineup.

Although Ganguly when he played at #3, allowing Tendulkar and Sehwag to open, was a much inferior batsman to his earlier avatar.

3 of India's batting unit (Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid) are in the top 10 highest run getters of all time in ODI cricket

2 of the top 5 highest odi partnerships are shared between Dravid , Tendulkar and Ganguly

Tendulkar and Yuvraj have won Man of the Tournament in World Cups (2003 and 2011 respectively)

Tendulkar and Sehwag were among the first cricketers to get double hundreds in ODI cricket.

Prime Sachin Tendulkar gets into the majority of people's All-Time ODI XI and his 52 hundreds are almost the same amount of hundreds as the Pakistani batsmen managed combined ..

I'd only swap Yousuf with Dravid at a stretch, I think India takes this one comfortably..

Just like Pakistan would do if you compared the bowling line ups from this period

Not really he actually did quite well at No.3

He only played 32 innings at 3 and averaged 52 , 3 odi hundreds and 10 50's ..

The problem was when he batted No.4 and below ..
There his average was in the 20's at a low SR
