ICC Emerging Nations Trophy (Sim League X)

Fun fact: Namibia were screwed out of two runs in the Kotze 148 game. The 4 JJ Smit hit at the end of the 49th over was only recorded as a single, despite picked up by a member of the ground staff a good 10 meters beyond the boundary rope and then thrown back to Hayat (?). To compound that a single was given as two in the final over, scorers really **** the bed on that one.

Anyway congratulations to HK, some much needed solace for them for the time until Winnie the Pooh inevitably decides to burn the whole place down
Oof. Surely there is a way we can blame ***** for that & hold him personally responsible.

the department for drawing up the knockout bracket kindly requests we slow down a little to digest the result.

tea and biscuits in the pavilion
I won't have too much free time over the next couple of days so will probably keep simming tonight whilst I have the chance. After this leg there will be plenty of time to catch up with that delightful tournament bracket.

Even on a true wicket such as this, the Afghani spinners still rise to the occasion. Apart from Ervine, Zimbabwe's batting never really got going.

RtD has been excellent this tournament

Wales have been killing it. Having a lot of county pros helps a lot
Much like your expertise in regards to HK cricket, I think morgieb did well with his selections. He knew of a whole bunch of Welsh born players that I didn't think of.

The Deshi juggernaut keeps on rolling along. Ireland fought their way back into the match on days 3 & 4 but the Bangadeshi batsmen were too good in the end, scoring the winning runs in a hurry late on day 4.
