Hi, Welcome to Cricket Web.
The way I get batsman out is yorkers, and only bowl them as a surprise ball.

Yeah it's pretty hard. You've just got to be patient and mix it up a bit. Some batsmen seem to get out in similar ways (ie. I always get Trescothick bowled, normally bowling over the wicket), so it's sometimes a case of knowing how to get each player out. As Haddin said, yorkers work well, and Warne (or any other spinner I guess) normally gets a few for me, more often than not caught by slips or gully.

I hate doing it, but often resort to only bowling yorkers with my quickest bowlers, setting a field they can't score off yorkers from (silly CPU AI). Aim at their heal, swing it towards off. They'll miss one sooner or later.

Then I go tell a child there's no Father Christmas or Easter Bunny and reflect on what a sad heal I am. Of course, if the CPU would play a shot or take a quick single, maybe I wouldn't have to do this! :)
