Humbly disagree. Imran had sarfraz qasim and qadir who were better at home. Hadlee had no support. Imran did tampering even in overseas

His playing days global batting average was low. I think it was 25ish IIRC. So those numbers needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Edit: It's 24.67 in Barne's time and 30.44 in Imran's time. Math is simple to workout from there onwards.
