Whenever you stage a Pakistani bowler against anyone else you need to cut some points because of ball tampering.

So, Hadlee easily.

Also, Richard Hadlee gets extra credit for carrying a mediocre bowling unit on his back for 15 years.

While others had support, Richard Hadlee single handedly carried the whole bowling attack on his shoulders and that makes his greatness more special.

Peak Imran Khan imo is the greatest bowler of all time, with only Sydney Barnes havint an argument over him, the fire he bowled with has not been matched arguably, it's not like he was drowning in excellent support.

Especially away from home, you can't even make excuses about bottlecaps and he was still exceptional

Humbly disagree. Imran had sarfraz qasim and qadir who were better at home. Hadlee had no support. Imran did tampering even in overseas

Richard Hadlee taking a dig at his rival Imran Khan “As long as the bowlers or fielders use whatever means they have on their persons, I don't see anything wrong with it. I'm talking about the use of a finger nail to scratch the ball, not bottle tops or those sort of things."

Did he explicitly mention Imran?
