Silver Silva

International Debutant
how does de Silva make every team somehow lol

@Silver Silva any reason why
Sri Lankan selectors tend to give a lot of chances to players in multiple formats if they have done well in one format ,even if they are not suited to other formats..

I think Dhananjaya Silva can only work if he opens the batting in white ball cricket, he's more of a touch player than a power hitter ..

In saying that, if the wickets are a bit on the slow side, his off spin will come in very handy and he's an excellent fielder..

They already have Pathum for that

i think he’s better than Chase
A lot better in Tests , but Chase actually averages more in odi cricket (26 ) than DDS (25) and they both have strike rates in the 70's ..

In T20 DDS averages more but it's not saying much cause both have low averages and strike rates , average with the ball is similar..
Really frustrating player cause he scores fairly quickly in Test cricket
