Hammond's argument is also pretty strong, averaged 75 in Australia before the war, more than the Don. And I think he has like 4-5 match winning performances in Australia by himself .

So Sachin didn't conquer Australian conditions, he just inflated his stats by statpadding in the subcontinent type Sydney pitch.

won't say so, he made runs at MCG consistently (45), and his 114 at WACA and 116 at MCG are some of the greatest knocks by touring Asian Batsmen in Australia. Think Viv has the edge on the faster Australian wickets though.

I just found the contrast funny lol, wasn't much more thought behind that post.
