In my opinion, gill when he retires in 13 years ish time, will become the greatest limited overs batter in history. Well above Kohli Already average well over 60.

In terms of tests , he could even get to top 5 if he improves his tests batting.

Gill really is showing promise though. And the Indian team has quite a high regard for him which shows in them dropping Kishan post the double century and playing him once he was available.

In tests, I would like Gill to move to 3 once Pujara moves on. Made this point in his first or second test and still stand by it that he will be better at 3 than opening.
