International Coach
Fair. Gavaskar and Hutton are clearly the best two. After that I think it’s between Greenidge and Smith, and Boycott for third best.
Boycott>Greenidge>Smith/Sehwag/Hayden/Cook. Greenidge is closer to Boycott than he is to Smith. And Smith is in no way clear of Cook/Hayden/Sehwag.

Hobbs>Hutton>Gavaskar>Sutcliffe>Boycott>Greenidge>Gooch>Simpson>Smith≥Hayden≥Sehwag≥Cook for me, excluding Barry and Trumper (and Grace).

Cook > Sehwag for me

Sehwag’s record in many places is dismal
25 in SA(8 Tests)
20 in NZ(5 Tests)
27 in Eng(7 Tests)
