Shafique must be the lowest impact ever player to play anywhere near the number of tests he did. I honestly can't think of any matches where I felt he'd shaped the outcome at all

Reminder that he played the most consecutive tests for Pakistan, the equivalent of this record for other nations is held by Cook, Border, Kapil, Chanders and other stalwarts. This is unsurprisingly my least favourite fact in the world and something that keeps me up at night sometimes.
